Door entry systems operate as audio and/or visual to enable visitors to be checked and screened either by voice or video image. Once validated, the visitor can be granted access via an electronic door release mechanism. Multiple handsets can be installed to give greater flexibility in both domestic and commercial applications.
Within apartment blocks, the convenience of a well-designed IP based door entry system comes into its own. An Audio/Visual Handsfree unit, neatly installed within the apartment allows the homeowner to view and speak to any potential visitor prior to granting them access.
