IKM Engineers Successfully Complete Firestopping training & Assessment

Engineers from IKM’s London and Cardiff teams have successfully completed practical firestopping training and a FIRAS competency assessment conducted by Warringtonfire in Cardiff.

Five engineers attended the training and assessment day, which combined practical firestopping exercises with a formal competency assessment. The session provided an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their knowledge, installation skills and understanding of industry best practice.

At IKM, we recognise the importance of maintaining competence through ongoing training, assessment and professional development. Regular reviews of practical skills help ensure that firestopping installations are completed to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The training day brought together engineers from across the business, enabling the team to share knowledge, reinforce best practice and further develop their passive fire protection expertise.

We would like to congratulate everyone who took part and successfully passed the assessment.
